Happy new year!
And mine started perfectly. After a nice farewell surprise where Claudia, Petra, Daniela, Thorsten und Henning came to the airport to say goodbye and making sure that I’m really leaving Munich, I had a smooth flight to Santiago via Frankfurt, Santo Domingo and Panama. And even I had only a One-Way-ticket I never got asked how I’ll come back. Perhaps because I started in Munich with a domestic flight. Others told me in the plane that they were requested to purchase another ticket for return or flying out of the country.
In Santiago the immigration was very easy (10 min) and I got my backpack!
And then Beatriz, Fernando and Fernanda were so kind and picked me up from the airport. Thank you so much! It is a great start.

Now I’m sitting in the garden of a recommendable cheap hostel drinking my first coffee 🙂

Lieber Thomas, schön, dass Dein Flug so problemlos war und Du gleich von Freunden in Empfang genommen wurdest! Heute wirst Du hoffentlich ohne Schwierigkeiten Dein Motorrad besteigen können!
